Terms of Use: Sofa Sidekick

The short version: Use Sofa Sidekick to track your shows, and understand it's a small app that comes with no guarantees. If you break the rules, we can close your account. Fair enough?
Using the app
You need an account, and you're responsible for what happens under it, so keep your login to yourself. Give us a real email so you can get back in if you're locked out. You should be 18 to use it.
Be decent
Don't use Sofa Sidekick to break the law, hack it, scrape it, or mess with how it runs. It's a small tool made in good faith — treat it that way.
Your stuff is yours
The shows, lists, and data you create stay yours. You're just giving us permission to store and display them back to you so the app works.
The show data
Show and movie info comes from TheTVDB. We can't promise their data is always right or available.
If we add paid features
Some features may cost money later. If they do, we'll show you the price up front, payments will run through a processor like Stripe, and subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancel anytime and you keep access through the period you paid for. Refund policy: there are no paid features yet; if that changes, we'll post the refund policy here before you're ever charged.
No guarantees
Sofa Sidekick is provided as-is. We'll do our best to keep it running and your data safe, and to always let you export your data, but we can't promise it'll never go down or never lose anything. Don't rely on it as your only copy of anything precious.
To the extent the law allows, Project524 LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or lost data or profits, arising from your use of the app.
Closing accounts
You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
The legal basics
These terms are governed by the laws of Iowa. If they change, the new version shows up here with a new date, and using the app after that means you're okay with it.
